Thank You, Sanitation Workers

 Thank you to the Livingston Community Involvement and Diversity committee for organizing a fun and meaningful Martin Luther King Day of service. Our group chose to write a stack of thank-you cards to Sanitation Workers in Livingston, Maplewood, Montclair, and Jersey City. Sanitation workers are essential workers and we would be less healthy and more vulnerable without them! Also, Martin Luther King was fighting for the rights of sanitation workers who were on strike in Memphis when he was assassinated in 1968.
