The Chipmunk badge
Is a sweet little way of saying, “Yay, you’re here!” It’s not about checking off tasks—it’s a warm welcome hug in badge form for our tiniest trail buddies. 
Prepare Badge
Chipmunks in the 28th can earn their Prepare Badge by learning how to do new things to take care of themselves and others like pack their water & snack, put their dirty clothes in the hamper, packing some items for camp and try things like camping and hiking. |
Chipmunks explore the world!
Chipmunks are 2-4 and play, explore and learn new outdoor skills from caregiver volunteers or they may tag-along with their Otter-aged siblings at meetings, outings and camp-outs. Chipmunks must be directly supervised by at least 1 caregiver.
Chipmunks may attend our monthly Chipmunk Circle, a brief get together which often involves a craft, a song/story and a nature activity. Chipmunks with Otter-age older siblings are welcome to tag-along during Otter meetings. They are welcome to participate or play and explore near us supervised by their caregivers. Chipmunk scouts may wear a uniform of a yellow shirt and cap and may earn some badges. |
